Blake has served as the Bernard Law Group’s Office Manager since 2015, and as such, is involved in almost everything in the firm. From payroll to preparation for closings, Blake is behind the scenes working his magic to ensure that the details are covered. For example, in our Real Estate Practice, Blake is involved in the submission of post-closing originals to lenders and investors, and also ensures the recording of legal documents to perfect the lender’s or investor’s lien position on the financed subject property. Blake is also tech savvy and works with our firm’s IT service provider to ensure robust cybersecurity and client protection.
In the Compliance Practice, Blake is committed to making the Mortgage Call Report (MCRs) process as simple as possible for our clients. He is fastidious in his efforts to ensure that MCRs are submitted accurately and on time, and to protect our clients from administrative or other regulatory actions. Blake likes to train compliance clients to understand the intricacies of the MCR, and he gets a deep sense of gratitude when he witnesses the transformation of a client who has overcome their fear of the quarterly MCR process.

During the Covid-19 pandemic Blake acquired skills as a woodworker and even sold some of his creations online. Blake continues to spend his free time on woodworking projects.
